How we work with lenders, how we get paid, and what we will never promise. Written so you can actually read it.
We are a brokerage, not a lender
Olive Branch Capital (operated by Dixionary Enterprise LLC) is a loan brokerage. We do not lend our own money. We collect your application, work with underwriters and lending partners, and match you with options that fit. The lender you end up with makes the final decision on approval, rate and terms.
For home loans specifically: we refer you to licensed mortgage lenders. Olive Branch Capital does not originate mortgages.
How we get paid
We may receive compensation from a lending partner when a loan we referred closes. That compensation comes from the partner, not from you, and it does not change the rate or terms you are offered. It also does not decide which option we point you toward. We recommend what fits your situation.
Applying is free. If we cannot help, you owe us nothing.
No guarantees
We never promise an approval, a specific rate, a specific payment or a specific credit score change. Anyone who does is not being straight with you. Every application is reviewed individually and approval is never guaranteed.
Any example numbers on this site are illustrations only. Your actual rate, payment and term will be disclosed by the lender before you sign anything.
Credit building and tradelines
Our credit building service uses authorized user tradelines, meaning you are added as an authorized user on an existing account in good standing so its history can report to your credit file. Results vary by card issuer and by your overall profile. Tradelines strengthen your file but do not guarantee any loan approval or score outcome.
We only work with your real credit file and your real Social Security number. We do not offer, sell or recommend any product marketed as a new credit file or an alternative identification number.
Checking your options and your credit
Submitting an application with Olive Branch Capital does not affect your credit score. A lender will run a hard credit inquiry only once you choose an offer and decide to move forward, and you will know before that happens.
Availability
Products, rates and terms depend on our lending partners and on where you live. Availability varies by lender and location. Some products may not be offered in your state or country.
